Key Milestones Since 2015

Explore the significant moments in TEAMS' history that have shaped our growth and impact.

2014

Program Launch

In 2014, we launched our mission to bring quality education to remote communities in the Ayeyarwady delta, partnering with six eager monastic schools and six passionate young volunteers to uplift English education. We successfully enhanced the English skills of 70 teachers and 560 students, paving the way for greater global integration and self-sufficient learning communities.

2015

First Teaching workshop

In July 2015, we launched our first major TEAMS Workshop, welcoming 45 teachers from 25 monastic schools to a fully supported, intensive training at Mandalay. With expert-led classes, essential teaching materials, and a nurturing environment, we empowered educators to bring stronger English and modern teaching methodology back to their communities.

2016

First Teaching workshop

TEAMS launched its first nine-month teacher training program (Batch 1) with a custom-designed curriculum, supported by an international expert volunteer and a Senior Experten Service (SES) specialist from Germany, successfully training 20 dedicated teachers in 2016. After completing the program, all participants returned to their schools, putting their new knowledge into action to transform quality education in their communities.
